Venue - Data Quality Summit 2009

Overview
The Evoluon was built to house the Eindhoven Museum of Science and Technology. Today, more than 35 years later, this concrete flying saucer still appeals to the imagination. The multifunctional Evoluon is a magical place that you have to see for yourself.
Frits Philips, CEO of Philips, marked the corporation's 75th anniversary by building a museum of science and technology, the Evoluon. It was opened on 24 September 1966 to welcome the first of millions of people.
In 1998 the futuristic structure opened its doors once again to welcome a larger public. That time the museum functioned as a luxury commercial conference facility. The new formula proved to be a success, and today the Evoluon can by rights be called a world class conference center.
